Friends? was Angela's submission comic to the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont for the MFA program. (She was accepted.) The requirements were simply that it be "starring yourself, a snowman, a robot, and a piece of fruit."
 

She also had to write an essay for her submission packet. It had to be titled either "Cartoonists are like that" or "The Future."

Inked with a Hunt 102 and Speedball India ink. Laid out  in Adobe InDesign. The cover and book ends (which is the last page of the online comic) were both done in watercolor and ink on cold-press watercolor paper.
